Hello! I'm Leah Fillmore! A baby and family photographer located in Spring Hill, TN! I was so honored and ecstatic to photograph this maternity session during Tennessee's ice and snow storm!! Here are some of my favorites from this shoot!
The Rock Wall
This sweet family wanted to take photos close to their home (because driving in the ice is NOT ideal). LUCKILY they had some beautiful locations close to their home! One of them being this rock wall which was located in a neighbor's backyard! How beautiful!
The Snowy Field and Fur Coat
They also had this wonderful field right by their home with this beautiful tree line!
One thing I LOVED about this session was the incorporation of their grandmother's vintage fur coat! It was the perfect addition to this snowy shoot making this Mama look like an Ice Queen!
The Family
Maternity sessions focus mainly on Mama and her baby in her belly! BUT I always take photos of Mama with their significant other and DEFINITELY take photos of Mama and the older siblings as well as the whole family together! For the beginning of their session Grandma and auntie were able to watch big sister and then we brought older sister into the shoot about halfway through! After taking family photos, Auntie helped entertain older sister while mom and dad got more photos together!
Client Tip: Bring someone who would be able to entertain older siblings while mom and dad are getting their photos taken!
