Cake Smash Sessions

Cake smash sessions are held in my home studio located in Spring Hill, TN! They include portraits of baby without the cake, portraits with the cake, and then a fun bath splash (which doesn't actually contain water, but I do have a bubble machine blowing)!

Some baby's LOVE the cake, some baby's are afraid of the cake, and some have ZERO interest in cake! Harper dug in and knew exactly what to do with her cake! She was SO cute digging into her cake!

Getting to Know Harper:

This baby girl was SO smiley and joyful! What a fun way to capture this time in her life!

Harper LOVES CoCo Melon (wheels on the bus, to be exact!) which we even had playing in the background during some of her photos!

Harper's mom gave me a few more insights into Harper's likes:

• Harper LOVES to eat there is nothing she has tried she hasn’t liked! 
• She loves her mama and daddy!
• She loves to bounce!

Birth Story:

Every One Year Old has an epic birth story and I love learning and hearing all the different ways these babies come into the world and into their families! With that being said, I'm grateful Harper's momma shared some of their birth story with me!

Harper's Birth story: We went in 8/4/20 to get induced at 5pm, that next morning 8/5 around 8:30am the doctor broke my water but things weren’t really progressing and Harper wasn’t agreeing with the penicillin so the doctor made the decision for an emergency c section around 7pm that night and by 8:37pm we were parents to a 9lb14oz baby girl!
